Exploring the Anticancer Potential of Valproic Acid in Advanced Thyroid Cancer

In this trial, patients with advanced thyroid cancers of follicular cell origin whose tumors are not sensitive to radioactive iodine therapy will take valproic acid for 10 weeks and then undergo a radioactive iodine uptake test.
